The Minsk Herald started in 2010 as a project of English-speaking individuals who would like to establish a decent web resource about Minsk and Belarus in English. Now it became the ultimate source of information for guests of Belarus, expat community and anyone who would like to know more about this country in the center of Europe. The Minsk Herald has ambitious plans and now is looking for people who would like to grow with us. Position: Deputy Chief Editor
Location: Minsk, Belarus

The Minsk Herald is looking  for a Deputy Chief Editor.  You will be responsible for daily functioning of The Minsk Herald, editing and publishing.  This position involves providing coverage of general news and analysis in your specialist subject matter along with related markets and events. The position also involves shared editing, proofreading and other editorial duties. Some travel is involved.

Key skills: Excellent command of English, experience in Journalism, team managment

Position: Marketing and Sales Manager
Location: Minsk, Belarus

The Minsk Herald is looking for an experienced Marketing and Sales Manager to support our sales activities. This position involves calls to existing and perspective clients. dealing with Bitrix24 CRM, planning marketing and sales activities.

Key skills: experience in sales, working knowledge of principles of online advertising, knowledge of CRM systems, team managment

Position: Lawyer
Location: Minsk, Belarus

The Minsk Herald is looking for a lawyer to work on various assignements with our clients. This position involves helping with works permits, student and guest visa, consulting about company formation in Belarus.

Key skills: degree in Law, working knowledge of Belarusian immigration law,  good command of English

Position: Journalist/Reporter
Location: Minsk, Belarus

The Minsk Herald is looking for an exporienced Journalist/Reporter. This position involves providing coverage of general news and analysis in your specialist subject matter along with related markets and events. The position also involves shared editing, proofreading and other editorial duties. Some travel is involved.

You will be an experienced Journalist/Reporter with knowledge of working across an international market sector. Excellent English skills are required and other languages would be beneficial. Finance/business journalism is desirable, as is newswire experience. Demonstrated numeracy skills would be highly advantageous.

The position involves talking with senior-level executives and others on market-sensitive information, so it is essential that you are professional, personable and diplomatic.

Position: Proofreader/Editor
Location: Minsk, Belarus, but remote applicants are also welcome

The Minsk Herald is looking for a English native standard speaker to join our multi-cultural team. It is likely you will have studied as a translator or journalist and enjoys sub editing, translating, proofing and quality assurance work. You should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Minsk and Belarus, and be happy to work as part of a team.

Your role will be primarily focused editing & summarizing text. Quality assurance is essential as you will be responsible for the final proofing.

Position: Volonteer Translator

The Minsk Herald is looking for volonteers who would like to improve their writing skills in English and get experience in convering various topics such as business, politics, culture or sport.

Position: Bannermaker/Graphic Designer
Location: Minsk, Belarus

The Minsk Herald is  looking to recruit Graphic Designer with social media knowledge. You will help to create and extend our presence in the social media markets.

Any experience with web design would be a bonus but not necessary.

Key skills: practical knowledge with Photoshop and Illustrator, Flash is highly desirable; Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills;  Social media and marketing knowledge

The Minsk Herald is looking  looking for a web master with significant working experience and familiarity with CMS WordPress. The job is to maintain the web site running and to modify its design if required.

Key skills: knowledge of WordPress and phpBB, working experience with PHP, HTLM and JavaScript.

Position: Teacher of English

The Minsk Herald is looking for teachers of English to work with our clients on part-time basis.  This position involves teaching English on client’s premises, monitoring of student progress, development of learning materials. Native speakers of English are more than welcome to apply.
